I’m not an activist, but I do recognize that my identity may not be equally recognized in the community that I have ever lived in. Please allow me to take a deep breath first — Syracuse University officially reopened and started its fall semester on Monday even under this Covid-19 outbreak in the U.S. However, I never could’ve imagined that the xenophobia issue would have resurfaced so quickly.
